I'm so Excited!!!

It's been found!! My blog from before all my old posts, but it has been converted to a different address. I went to my dashboard tonight and there it was. I don't know why it's back but I'm going to take it as a blessing and use it to my advantage! I'm thinking about calling blogger and seeing if there is anyway to combine them. So we will have to see what happens. I will keep you updated. Life is finally getting better!!

Oh my fountain!!

A lot has happened in the past week. Yes I got a job; so blogging has been on the back burner. I'm hoping to get some cute pictures of the Salon and get them posted and tell everyone about it. But one of the main events from last week is that my sister was back in the hospital with sepsis. She has been so sick and we are all worried about her. The baby is doing amazing, but we ask for you to all keep Amy in your prayers. She went back into the hospital with a severe Kidney infection and then developed sepsis. She was in the hospital for about 4 days and is now staying with my mom. But on a happier note the kids and I went down to see Amy in the hospital and while sitting in the waiting room Mason found the fountain. Yes that is him drinking the water from off of the wall. It was so cute I had to take some pictures but it was also very disgusting needless to say he got quite the wash down when we got home. Oh Mason we love you!!!

EAT AT JOE'S

I'm going to write this post in hopes that is doesn't sound like a commercial but I'm afraid it might come out that way. Tonight Camron met us at my sister's in Sandy to see Baby Zach! Well when we were done we decided to go to one of my new favorite places to eat. It's right down the street from my sister's. Thanks Lindsay you are awesome. We might have never tried this place. For those who have never been to Joe's Crab Shack is missing out. If you have kids this is the perfect place. The Sandy location has a playground inside of the restaurant. The playground is in it's own room so you don't have to worry about and it interfering with dinner. You can request a table next to the playground so you can watch the kids while you are sitting at the table enjoying your evening. Given it's not the quietest restaurant but that is another wonderful thing about it. If your kids are loud you don't have to get embarrassed. In my case this is definitely a must. If you know my kids you know they are LOUD!! It was such a nice evening we were able to enjoy our meal, and the kids were able to enjoy theirs too. Another amazing thing is that to go to a restaurant and everyone get something they like is another challenge for my family. But there is something on the menu for everyone. WHAT A JOY!!! Thanks JOE!!! Sorry the pictures are not all that great I didn't have my camera and so I used the camera on my phone.

Talking Religion

Day of Faith: Personal Quests for a Purpose - 3. Rachel Esplin from Harvard Hillel on Vimeo.

My dad told me about this video. It is really neat. You always wonder what someone will say about the LDS Religion with put on the spot questions. Rachel Esplin does an amazing job with those questions. My dad mentioned to me how amazing he thought this young girl did under pressure. I agree with him. WOW!!

CHOO CHOO!! (repost)

This was so fun. As most of you know Mason is OBSESSED with trains. Last Christmas we took him down to Provo Towne Center to ride the train around Santa. He was terrified he cried the whole time he was on it. But as soon as he got off he wanted to watch it and didn't want to leave it was really cute. Here are some of his cute pictures.

The Next Survivor Series

My mom e-mailed me this I thought it was great!!

THE NEXT SURVIVOR SERIES

Six married men will be dropped on an island with one car and 3 kids each for six weeks.

Each kid will play two sports and either take music
or dance classes.

There is no fast food.

Each man must take care of his 3 kids;
keep his assigned house clean
, correct all homework,
and complete science projects, cook, do laundry,
and pay a list of 'pretend' bills with not enough money.

In addition, each man will have to budget in money for groceries each week.

Each man must remember the birthdays
of all their friends and relatives,
and send cards out on time--no emailing.

Each man must also take each child to a doctor's appointment, a dentist appointment and a haircut appointment.

He must make one unscheduled and inconvenient
visit per child to the Urgent Care.

He must also make cookies or cupcakes for a social function.

Each man will be responsible for decorating his own assigned house, planting flowers outside and keeping it presentable at all times.

The men will only have access to television
when the kids are asleep
and all chores are done.

The men must shave their legs, wear makeup daily,
adorn
themselves with jewelry,
wear uncomfortable yet stylish shoes
,
keep fingernails polished
and eyebrows groomed.

During one of the six weeks,
the men will have to endure severe abdominal cramps, back aches, and have extreme, unexplained mood swings but never once complain or slow down from other duties.

They must attend weekly school meetings,
church
, and find time at least once to spend the afternoon at the park or a similar setting.

They will need to read a book to the kids each
night and in the morning, feed them, dress them,
brush their teeth
and comb their hair by 7:00 am.

A test will be given at the end of the six weeks, and each father will be required to know all of the following information:
each child's birthday,
height, weight,
shoe size, clothes size
and doctor's name.
Also the child's weight at birth,
length, time of birth,
and length of labor,
each child's favorite color,
middle name,
favorite snack,
favorite song,
favorite drink,
favorite toy,
biggest fear and
what they want to be when they grow up.

The kids vote them off the island
based on performance.
The last man wins only if...he still has enough energy
to be intimate with his spouse at a moment's notice.

If the last man does win,
he can play the game over and over
and over again for the next 18-25 years
eventually earning the right to be called Mother!

After you get done laughing, send this to as many females as you
think will get a kick out of it and
as many men as you think can
handle it.

Getting cozy for a movie

We rented a movie last night and watched it with the kids. It was so fun!! The kids sat and watched the whole thing. Camron picked it out. Cloak and Dagger from 1984. It stars Henry Thomas the kids from E.T. it was really good. Camron remembers watching as a kid and really liked it. I guess it took him back. What fun!!

Daylen's last basketball game was a couple of weeks ago. He did so good and made three baskets. We are so proud of him! I just can't believe how big he's getting. Daylen you did awesome!!

Daylen playin defense!

whishing you were someone else for just a moment

I love Amy Lee. If I had a voive like that life would be great right? Sometimes you just want to escape your life and live in someone else's shoes. My pick Amy Lee. This is one of my favorite songs that she sings. I get goose bumps when I hear it. If we only could all be that talented.

BeFoRe

This is a picture of Daylen and I. This poem was one of my first posts on my blog! I love it I hope you ENJOY!!

Before...

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't Stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the
satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

I read NieNie

So this was my last post before I lost everything. I'm going to try and remember what I wrote about. I saw this button on a couple of my friends blog. The first time I saw it I went to the site but didn't think that much about it and didn't pay that much attention. Then as I saw it on another friends blog I thought maybe I should pay closer attention. NieNie is an inspiration. I look up to people that can take a tragedy in their lives and pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and keep moving forward. I know if something bad happened to me I would hope that I would do the same. We never know when life is going to change in an instant. Are we ready? Do we know what we will do? I think everyone would learn a life lesson from NieNie.
